Attention Flyfishers: A passport is now required if you plan to fly to another Country

You will need a Passport if your next flyfishing trip requires travel to another Country. For the American citizen this is a significant change from requirements prior to January, 2007. If you do not have a passport and you want to fly to a destination this year, from the United States, you need to get an application completed and submitted as soon as possible.

A visit to passport should be your first step. All the information you will need is contained there. You should probably be prepared to wait for 6 weeks or longer to get your passport.

Canadian citizens can visit Passport Canada for information.
